Immigrant Day 2015 – May 18th – 8 to 4

Join hundreds of immigrants and advocates from across California for Immigrant Day 2015!CA_Immigrant-Day-UULMCA-Gro Immigrant Day is a day of advocacy, education and unity, where we will raise a unified voice in Sacramento in support of state proposals that advance immigrant integration and prosperity for all Californians.

The UU Justice Ministry of California participates in this effort as a part of the California Immigrant Policy Center. UUs have a responsibility to be a visible and credible partner in advancing immigrant justice and we are asking you to show up in solidarity with immigrants and their families. Please join us on May 18th from 8am to 4pm at the State Capitol (we meet at the west steps on 10th Street.) Please email immigrantjustice@uujmca.org if you have any questions.

CIPC is coordinating buses to Sacramento for Southern California, the Bay Area, and the Central Valley (Fresno). The cost of bus transportation and lunch is $15. If you just want lunch but not transportation, the cost is $5. General registration is FREE.
