Climate & Environmental Justice Organizer
Jolly (he/him) is an artivist and advocate living in Lake Balboa, Los Angeles, California. In the last years Jolly has been active in many ways to build a healthier and more sustainable community, from travelling to DC to lobby with representatives to organizing and supporting marches and rallies. He has helped neighbors start composting, express their frustrations with their government officials, and receive adequate nutrition during the pandemic. As a harm-reduction abolitionist he is a lynchpin for people to become as involved as they want to be.
In his role with UUJMCA, Jolly will be supporting the development of our “UUs for a Fossil Free Future” faith-rooted campaign, which will work alongside our partners & frontline collaborators to organize at local and state levels for the radical transformation California must model for the rest of the country. We are grateful for the financial support of the UU Service Committee that has allowed us to create this new position to launch this campaign!
