UUJMCA Adopts Immigrant Justice Guiding Principles

January 6, 2014 by evan junker Leave a Comment

The Unitarian Universalist Justice Ministry of California is guided by our values to create change in the world. We seek to empower the voices of thousands of UnitariantentcityGA2012 Universalists, as well as those who share our values. In any issue we engage in, we go through a deep, deliberate process of seeking out the foundation of our engagement. What results is a “Guiding Principles” document that we use as a grounding instrument to hold us accountable to our principles. This document reflects the hard work and commitment of lay-leaders and clergy who are dedicated to creating systemic change on issues. In 2013, the Unitarian Universalist Legislative Ministry, CA (now the Unitarian Universalist Justice Ministry of California) adopted a set of guiding principles related to immigrant justice.
