There is no shortage of ways to get involved. From online actions and organizing, connecting with other justice-makers across the state or in your area, supporting justice efforts financially or connecting through a specific justice program, the possibilities are endless. Get connected below:
Donate
It takes the support of individuals like you to make this justice ministry work. Please consider making a one-time donation, or become a UUJMCA Justice Sustainer with a monthly donation!
Volunteer
Plant #SeedsForJustice with UUJMCA and volunteer to be part of our “behind the scenes” work! By giving just a few hours of your time and talents, you can help us create and sustain a faithful movement for liberation. Take our volunteer survey and let us know which of the listed opportunities to “give” you would like to take!
Join a Statewide Action Team
UUJMCA works to create justice on a number of issues. Check out our programs and get involved. Our state-level justice efforts are lead through our grassroots Action Teams with support from our Executive Director, Rev. Ranwa Hammamy. We are always looking for dedicated individuals to join our teams! We currently have Action Teams related to Immigrant Justice & Environmental Justice, and are working on building up our Economic Justice as well as our Racial Justice & Abolition Teams! Please email info@uujmca.org if you would like more information on these teams and ways they can support your work.
Connect with a Justice Collective
Get connected with UUs and UU-aligned justice makers in California who share your interests! Explore & join our new California JUUstice Collectives, where justice makers can join online spaces & monthly calls to share updates, resources, & events, as well as ask questions of others working on similar justice issues. Collectives are being formed in the following areas: Climate Justice, Economic Justice, Immigrant Justice, and Racial Justice & Abolition.
