Seeding Justice, Sustaining Liberation
Thank you for planting seeds of justice with UUJMCA!
Your Unitarian Universalist Justice Ministry of California has been working, adapting, organizing, and advocating for collective liberation in California and beyond in 2020. As we wrap up a year filled with challenges, resilience, frustration, and hope, your UUJMCA staff and leadership is moving forward with determination, dedication, intention, and faith-rooted imagination for a more just and liberated California.
(You can read more about what UUJMCA and you have accomplished in 2020 and what lies ahead in our End of Year letter from Rev. Dr. Betty Stapleford, UUJMCA’s Board President.)
We know that this year has brought financial challenges to some of us, and that giving a monetary gift at this point is not possible. That’s why we are hosting our #SeedsForJustice volunteer drive right here alongside our end of year financial ask for all of December 2020.
If you cannot make a tax-deductible financial offering to support the statewide organizing of California UUs, you CAN make an offering of your time and talents to help us build a more sustainable network.
All throughout December, you can support UUJMCA by planting a financial or volunteer seed by coming here (uujmca.org/Give2020).
Whatever you can give – time, talents, treasures, or any combination of the three – your gift makes a difference not only to UUJMCA but to Californians working to build a more just and liberated world.
I hope you’ll join me in planting #SeedsForJustice this December.
In faith, justice, and liberation –
Rev. Ranwa Hammamy, Executive Director
